The vocation of this association is to promote sustainable port development with the aim of creating synergies between ports that have the same challenges and promoting information exchange, sharing experiences and know-how between these stakeholders.

Raquel Kibrit

Executive Director

Raquel Kibrit is a global strategist specializing in international expansion within the port sector. With experience as Head of International Affairs at Santos Port Authority, Director for Latin America at the American Association of Port Authorities, and Country Manager at Docktech, she works closely with CEOs, entrepreneurs, and port leaders to develop successful global growth strategies and connect key strategic stakeholders.

Giulia Marcelino

Membership Experience

Giulia Marcelino, an International Relations professional with over two years of experience in the port sector, is a multilingual individual fluent in 4 languages. Having worked in the Member Experience team for LATAM at the American Association of Port Authorities, she became a proven communicator with strong interpersonal skills and an active listener. She lived in the US for more than two years and fosters intercultural understanding. Her client-centric approach enables her to identify and address member needs effectively, maximizing the benefits IAPORTS has to offer.

Marcelo Barroso

Finance Director

Marcelo Barroso is an experienced financial executive and business architect with extensive experience in corporate finance and strategic management. His professional career includes significant international experience, having collaborated with global partners and led projects connecting cross-border financial practices. Marcelo excels at optimizing financial processes and driving sustainable growth. His strategic vision and expertise in economic modeling make him a valuable asset to the International Association for Port Development, especially in corporate and infrastructure initiatives.
